Thank you for choosing to report anonymously. We understand that this might be a difficult time for you, and we want to help connect you to support.
Choosing to submit a report anonymously means that we will not be able to contact you and we are therefore unable to give you direct support.
We understand and respect the wish to report anonymously, but if now, or at a later time, you would like to speak to someone for support or guidance, please choose to
speak to an advisor.
The ICR will not generally (see FAQs for exceptions) take steps such as investigating the complaint, initiating disciplinary or other formal proceedings or passing information on to third parties in order to take the report further, unless you have chosen to report with contact details (after discussing this with you). However anonymous reports will still enable us to monitor trends and to build a picture of issues across the ICR where people do not feel able to reveal personal information. This will inform support and prevention work across the ICR on tackling bullying, harassment and sexual misconduct, so we would encourage you to report, even if you feel you can only do so anonymously.
There are certain circumstances in which ICR may take steps such as those listed above even where an anonymous report is received (in which case action will be taken on a 'no names' basis). This is usually where there are concerns for your safety or another person’s safety. Please see our
Privacy policy for more information.
